Rainy days

This is a typical rainy day. I woke up in the morning looked outside and it was dark and the rain was pouring down. My plan to paint cupboard doors outside then got cancelled and the only thing left is laundry and some cooking in the afternoon. The laundry is now left with the machines, but what should I do with the rest of my day?

I have lots of projects that would be nice to play with, but since my husband is sleeping in my study it's hard do get to the equipment I need. So, nothing involving sewing machines, painting or crafting are possible.


Have always wanted to learn Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator really well. That would be easy to do, since my PC is placed inn our living room. Then, what kind of tutorials should I start with, have some basic knowledge about layering and the pen tool. Maybe the key would be to learn how to use the pen tool really well? My problem is that I tend to get bored when I can't do the things I want when I want to do them.

And boredom often leads to baking or TV. I bake when I want to bring something to a party or when I'm bored and hungry. Bored and hungry isn't a great time for baking. Heavy, sweet and fat cakes and a bears appetite leads to no great outcome.

TV isn't much better. Laying on the couch watching when I could do something only leaves me with a bad conscience. Even so, it's many fun things to watch. Currently I'm hooked on anime after discovering Animecrazy. During the spring I watched the whole Bleach series, 366 episodes. And now I'm watching Fairytale..

Rainy days surely are difficult, lazy or productive that's the question!
